glampark SOP FUJI Kawaguchiko

We had a peaceful stay and enjoyed looking out at Mount Fuji. It takes a little effort to get here, since this isn’t the busy area right by the station.

The BBQ was delicious, and there was more food than we could finish. The deck looked out over Mt. Fuji and the autumn leaves, and at night the stars were incredible. It was cold outside, but the optional bonfire and the room’s stove and air conditioning kept us warm. This was my first glamping trip, and the kind staff made sure everything went smoothly. Thank you for such a lovely time!

This place is a good fit for a quiet, relaxing escape, and the staff are all very friendly. It isn’t close enough to walk to Lake Kawaguchi, though some rooms have a wide view over the lakeside, which may make the distance less of an issue. The road up to the property is sloped, so wear shoes with good grip in winter.

With it at 0°C outside, I was glad the room had a stove and air conditioning. The gas hot water worked well too, so there was no trouble getting hot water. The shower, toilet, and bed were all comfortable and well kept. The view of Mt. Fuji is wide open, with nothing blocking it, and the bonfire was a real highlight. I’d definitely add it as an option. The barbecue grill had everything set up well, so we could enjoy a BBQ without spending much time preparing. The attentive staff made my first glamping trip easy and enjoyable. Thanks for a comfortable stay!
