Borrowing one of the spotless bikes made exploring really easy, and the guest house is ideally placed between Lake Kawaguchiko and the main station. It was exceptionally clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that even had free green tea. The welcome was warm and friendly. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The location was really good, and the guest house had everything we needed. The hostess was super helpful and full of useful information. It was a cool place, and we could take the free bikes around the lakes.

We loved our four-night stay here. From the windows, the views of fuji were incredible. The owners were so kind, and the indoor camping room had very comfortable beds. All the linens felt cozy and smelled amazing. The kitchen and outdoor common areas were excellent. I’d highly recommend this place!

The main drawback was having only one shower and bathroom for the entire house, so we had to plan shower times and bathroom breaks. Otherwise, it’s a clean, beautiful home with very nice owners. The rooms are well maintained and have a distinctive design, with hammocks throughout and an amazing trampoline outside. We could walk to Lake Kawaguchi, which was lovely to explore. We also had an amazing view of Fuji right from our room.
