Kenta served our dinner with attentive, professional care, and we really appreciated it. We spent two nights here and found the staff friendly, the facilities well maintained, and the food and front desk service excellent. It felt like a five-star stay. My one suggestion is to add more breakfast choices for people staying several nights, since the options could vary from morning to morning. We’d gladly consider coming back.

We had a lovely view over the lake, especially in the morning, and the food was delicious with generous portions. A few of my friends weren’t so keen on some of the more adventurous dishes, haha. The service was great too. When our rental car battery died, a staff member helped us get going again using their car, all in under ten minutes. The trip was hectic, so I nearly forgot to leave a review, but the hotel was really nice.

Our family of three had room to spread out, and the Japanese futons were comfortable. The hotel sits right by the lake, with lovely views, and it’s an easy walk to the gondola and station, though there’s also a shuttle. We loved how clean and relaxing the onsen was; it never felt crowded, and you can reserve a private bath. The open-air bath and rooftop foot bath overlooking Mt Fuji were both great. Miki, who hosted our dinner, was so warm with our daughter, and all the staff made us feel welcome. The kaiseki dinners were a memorable highlight each night, and the breakfast buffet had tasty options too. The place had a real ryokan feel mixed with a hotel.

Watching the sunset beside Fuji from the rooftop foot bath is a memory I’ll keep for a long time. The private hot baths were lovely for a quiet soak at sunrise, and the larger public onsen helped ease our tired feet. We also had an in-room meal, and Yuki explained everything carefully and patiently. The rooms were immaculate, the views mesmerizing, and the many thoughtful details made the whole stay feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting for the Mt Fuji views.
