Mt. Fuji is visible from the living and dining room, which made the stay feel extra special. The place was clean and well organized, and my room suited one person well. There was plenty of room to move around, with a large space under the bed for luggage. Slippers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, and body soap were all provided. Getting around is easier with your own car. The nearest bus stop is a 10-12 minute walk, and the ride to or from Kawaguchiko Station takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. 7-Eleven and FamilyMart are roughly 20 minutes away on foot. I still highly recommend it if you’re happy to walk and enjoy quiet scenery. Lake Kawaguchi is about 10-13 minutes away on foot, and it’s a nice spot for photos without crowds. ☺️

The views of Mount Fuji are great, and the place is beautiful, clean, and tidy. Washing and drying cost a fair bit, but there are more options around town.

It’s a peaceful spot, a little farther from town, and the shared spaces are nicely kept. The guest house has a great view of Mount Fuji. In the kitchen there’s an electric kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, and utensils. My room was comfortable and the AC worked properly. The toilet and shower were clean, and they provided slippers and towels. It takes around 11-15 minutes to walk to the sightseeing bus, which goes to the station and nearby attractions. The closest shop is about 20 minutes away. You can buy some food and drinks at reception, there’s a vending machine, and bicycles are available to rent.

The common areas are roomy, the rooms are clean, and parking is very convenient. A beautiful Mount Fuji photo spot is nearby, and with the right timing you can get some great shots. Having your own car would make things easier. There aren’t many staff, so the information desk can take a while to respond, though it wasn’t a big issue for me.
