It’s just a three-minute walk to the lake, where we watched the evening fireworks. From the second-floor room, the living room and kitchen have high ceilings, lots of natural light, and a direct view of Mount Fuji. The bed was very comfortable, and the host was friendly. Highly recommended, 100/100.

We had a really relaxing three-day stay with our family of seven during our Lunar New Year holiday in Taiwan. We happened to be there for the fireworks festival and could watch the fireworks across the street. Mount Fuji was also right in view from the living room, something I never imagined experiencing. The beds were very comfortable, and having two toilets and one bathroom worked well for us. The staff were polite and friendly, and gave us Taiwanese snacks before we left. We hope you felt the friendship between Taiwan and Japan! I’ve already recommended this guesthouse to my colleagues and would definitely stay again next time I’m in Kawaguchiko.
