The patio was a highlight, with its hammock, wood fireplace, gas grill and covered dining spot with fairy lights and heaters. The Saturn Room was cosy, modern and very clean, with amenities like a projector and coffee machine, plus a Mount Fuji view on clear days. Staff were extremely friendly and proactive. Parking was free, and they offered station transport, with pickup at 2:30pm and drop-off at 11am, arranged ahead on WhatsApp. Electric bikes were available to rent for about ¥2200 for 3 hours. The stay was unique and enjoyable, though a few things were harder over four nights. Towels, coffee and tissues weren’t replenished automatically, so we had to ask. Meals on Days 2 and 3 were great, but Day 1, repeated on Day 4, disappointed. The fixed timings could also feel restrictive: dinner’s last slot was around 6:50pm, showers had private time slots, and lights went out around 8:45pm. That made it tricky to catch sunset or shower late. Great atmosphere and concept, but consistency and flexibility could be better for longer visits.

We loved our stay at Tocoro Mt Fuji Camp and Glamping, and wished we could have stayed longer. The views and location were spectacular, the meals were delicious, and the service was amazing. Our Jupiter dome stayed warm and cosy, a welcome break from the cold outside while we enjoyed the scenery. At the service desk, there was tasty complimentary homemade miso soup, a shopfront, and electric scooters and bikes for rent. The staff made us feel very welcome and even shuttled us to Fuji Q amusement park for a day trip. Families looking for a different kind of stay can cook their own BBQ, make a fire and take in the incredible Mt Fuji views. I’d definitely recommend it.

The views of Mount Fuji were incredible, and the tent was so cosy. The common areas were clean and well maintained, and the staff were fantastic. Miquel was a delight to meet, and his recommendations helped make our weekend getaway amazing. A spectacular place. If we get the chance, we’ll definitely return. Congratulations!

TOCORO was a highlight of our Japan trip as a family of four. We stayed in Dome Mars, and despite wondering whether the journey out was worth it, we’re glad we made it. The staff were friendly, helpful and worked really hard. Breakfast and dinner were tasty, with plenty of variety and generous portions. There’s also a small shop selling snacks, drinks and necessities, plus a little playground.

Waking up and seeing Mount Fuji right outside our tent was one of the most memorable moments of the trip. We stayed one night at TOCORO. Mt. Fuji CAMP & GLAMPING on 17 November, arriving around 5pm, and had dinner and breakfast included. The bell tent was clean, warm, and thoughtfully set up, with a heater inside and another by the BBQ area. It was our first time camping, and sleeping among the quiet trees felt peaceful and surprisingly relaxing. The staff were patient and welcoming. They explained the site, meals, facilities, and safety clearly, and put our minds at ease when we asked about bears, saying there were no bear issues in the area. Dinner was a tasty BBQ with ingredients ready to cook and some dishes already prepared. Breakfast was packed neatly in the freezer for us to heat in the morning. The mountain air, soft lighting, quiet surroundings, and clear-night stargazing spot made the place feel cozy. Parking was free near the tents, and the site was close to Kawaguchiko attractions. A really lovely glamping stay for anyone after a peaceful night with Fuji scenery.
