Villa Ensoleille

Getting here by tourist bus takes a bit of effort, but it can be done, and the hotel offers some kind of pickup service. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and we had a great stay with several nice outings around the area. Our house was spacious, clean, and clearly well cared for. It had everything we needed and more, though there was no washing machine. Since it was in the front row, we could see Mt. Fuji even from the bathroom and tub. Thanks for making us feel welcome!

Villa A was a great fit for our family of five. The villa was spacious and immaculately clean, and the kids had a ball upstairs and down. We were especially happy to see Mt Fuji from the jacuzzi. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a proper meal, and parking was right outside. The lake is less than a 10-minute walk away. Hiroyuki checked in with us before arrival and offered a station pickup, though we had a car and didn’t need it. He also made a map of nearby attractions and places to eat, and we relied on his recommendations. Since we stayed two nights, he supplied large water bottles, extra tissues, and rubbish bags, along with room service and clean towels, which we didn’t take up. We couldn’t have been happier.

We had a lovely, peaceful, relaxing stay at Villa Ensoleille. Our villa was gorgeous, with stunning views of Mt. Fuji, and the staff went above and beyond when we had a medical need. They came to our rescue when we could have been in serious trouble without them. The spirit of omotenashi is alive and well here. If you want a luxurious stay near Mt. Fuji, Villa Ensoleille is a wonderful choice.

We stayed two nights with three kids and two adults. The kids chose from the four beds upstairs, while we used the fold-out sofa futon downstairs. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, and reception staff were very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, new, and roomy, with heated floors. The view was spectacular. Best place we stayed in Japan, hands down.
