There’s a Lawson right beside the hotel, so it’s easy to pick up whatever you need. The shops on the commercial street across from it close around 6pm, so they don’t get in the way of sleeping. The location is handy, and the place feels quite secure. You have to enter three different one-time passwords to get into your room. They also have free lotion, moisturizers, and hot water in the lobby.

The staff gave good service, and you can do laundry there. The price seemed fair, and the hotel was just okay compared with a typical hostel or hotel. It’s conveniently placed between the two stations at Enoshima, with a Lawson and good restaurants nearby. The downside was the sound. I could hear noise from the hallway and other rooms, so I didn’t sleep very well.

The family room is tiny, and the chairs by the window are wedged against the bed, so they’re basically useless. The toilet and shower are raised very high above the floor, and my kids struggled with the toilet. For the second night, I don’t think the price was good value: they left clean towels and sheets outside the door for us to put on ourselves, and didn’t clean the room, take the garbage, or clean the glasses, toilet, or shower. It would make sense to discount that night. I slept terribly both nights. The blinds don’t do their job, and there’s a big gap between them and the window frame where the streetlights shine through. I kept waking up thinking morning had come, only to see it was 2am, 3am, or 4am. It felt like sleeping in a tent. If you need a dark room to sleep, this is a TERRIBLE choice. I’d only recommend it if you’re desperate and don’t mind a bright room. There are better hotels nearby, so try to book early.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were nice and easy to deal with. They even kept our bags the next day until about 7 p.m. The location is really good, and the weekend price was reasonable. If you need proper rest, bring an eye mask or choose the bed farther from the window. I’d recommend it for a trip to Enoshima if the price and amenities suit you.
