We found the staff friendly and patient, and the room and shared facilities were clean. The hotel was also handy for the stations, places to eat, and other spots we needed to reach. English was limited, but we managed fine, including at check-in with Google Translate. Staff also helped send our luggage to our next hotel. If you do that, have its address in Japanese ready. Getting there by car took some figuring out. Parking is in the back alley, and the so-called valet setup is really self-parking: staff put the car on a turntable, give you papers for the front desk, turn the vehicle, then you drive onto the parking elevator and park where they direct you. The room was an average size. The three of us had separate beds, including a rollaway for our 13-year-old. My wife and I could have shared one, but probably not comfortably. There’s laundry on site, though it takes a while to dry clothes. We used a coin laundry about a six-minute walk away instead.

Handy location, and the big plus is having four washers and four dryers.
2/10
The check-in policy left me uneasy. They asked to see my residence card, and I declined because I understood hotel law to mean they couldn't require ID for check-in. After a few minutes, the manager came out and agreed I could check in without it. They did resolve it, but changing the procedure so staff don't ask in the first place seems simple. For many travelers, refusing a request at check-in feels risky because they could be turned away. I can't recommend the hotel for that reason. The rest is a typical business hotel: clean, with a fairly convenient walk from the station. There are hotels closer to the station, though they may cost a little more, so this one might offer the best value for you.
6/10
The location is excellent, and there’s a decent PC in the lobby. You can read the nekkei newspaper there, maybe for free? The cocoa from the vending machine was awful. Some rooms don't smell, but ours was really sweaty-smelling, and there was no lotion at all.
8/10
The facilities feel a bit dated, but the rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
