From the upstairs balcony, the views of Mount Fuji are amazing. The place is also near the train station and Chureito Pagoda, which makes it a great option for a stay around Mount Fuji. And Sayuri is so kind, always ready to lend a hand.

The bedroom view of Mount Fuji was spectacular, and the house itself was spacious and clean. We were only there briefly, but the whole stay left us touched by the host's humble, warm hospitality. She answered our questions quickly, suggested places for sightseeing and meals, and her family was lovely too. It felt like a wonderful way to experience traditional Japanese living. We'd happily stay again if we return to Fujiyoshida.

The rooms were large and clean, with an equipped kitchen, and the place was well looked after. We had a great time at Asahi and enjoyed the traditional Japanese feel. Sayuri knows the area well and was very kind. When we needed help planning outings with the family, she always got back to us with a helpful response.

Waking up to that surreal view of Fuji from every bedroom was a highlight. The rooms are spacious, though the doors are a bit low for someone tall like me. The host was friendly and so helpful, and the family's restaurant out front served really tasty food. I'd especially recommend the shabu-shabu. We'd definitely come back.
