The hostess was very friendly. She helped us park at night, then chatted with us the next morning while out walking her dog. The garden and room were well maintained, and the bathroom facilities were decent.

I loved the atmosphere in this beautiful, authentic house, which is more than 300 years old. The owner was caring and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

The neighborhood was peaceful, with lots of restaurants close by, and the hostel isn't far from Mt. Fuji station. Our room was beautiful, and the hostess was very kind. Thanks so much for welcoming us as guests!

The garden was amazing, and the host was nice. The futons were comfortable too. I think this was our most authentic experience in Japan so far, staying at such an amazing traditional hotel.

A lovely garden and a chance to stay in an old, traditional Japanese home. The room is small and very basic, but the experience is worth enjoying.
