Fuji Gran Villa -Toki

The hotel offers free shuttles to kawaguchiko station and the fuji-Q highland express bus stop, which made getting around really convenient. The staff were friendly and spoke English, and the rooms were spacious, beautiful, and very clean. I’d definitely recommend it to family and friends. ☺️👍🏼

This new, clean villa had everything we needed, and the rooftop BBQ facing Mt. Fuji was a nice extra, though it costs more. There’s good privacy and lovely views, so it works well for families or groups. A couple of drawbacks: there’s no washing machine in the room, and some villas don’t have private parking. Ours had several steps, which could be awkward with lots of luggage if your car is parked far away.

We got a view of Fuji Q theme park and Fujiyama from the rooftop, and the huge projector with surround sound was great for Netflix and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable, and breakfast is available for an extra fee if you want it. We arrived late, but the staff waited for us to check in and gave us a simple introduction to the place. They even asked if anyone in our group smoked and provided an ashtray, though smoking is only allowed on the rooftop. It would’ve been nice to have laundry service, but that’s not a deal breaker since there are laundromats a drive away. We loved this place!

Our favorite part was the rooftop, with its view of Mt. Fuji and a spot for stargazing. We spent two nights here, and the villa exceeded what we expected. We had everything we needed to make dinner, and the second-floor bedroom had a big projector screen, just right for a cozy movie night.
