Heavy snow made me book this hotel at the last minute on 8 February 2026, and it turned out to be a great decision. I got room 203, with two single beds and a sofa bed, plus a bathroom, amenities, refrigerator and hairdryer. The onsen was free, and we could see Mt Fuji through the windows!

No complaints from me. The room was decently furnished and had an excellent view of fuji san. The onsen was really nice too, with an open air option, though it got a little crowded at night. The attached restaurant was quite good as well.

The front desk service was really bad. Nobody on staff could speak English, and they didn’t seem to care whether you understood what they were saying. I tried to book a taxi in the middle of the night. The guy said okay, but booked it for the wrong time, then asked the guest to pay the booking fee. Worst of all was the attitude!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don’t speak Japanese, I strongly advise against staying here.

The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and we had a lovely view of Mt. Fuji in the morning. The onsen was great, but it isn’t tattoo friendly, is open to the public, and gets very busy. It closes at 10pm and doesn’t reopen in the morning until after checkout, which was pretty disappointing since I booked this hotel to enjoy it. The laundry room was handy for washing and drying our clothes after climbing.

The building smelled of cigarettes, and the slippers were old. Even with two people staying, they gave us just one card key. The staff greeted me with “welcome” when I was coming back from shopping???
