The hot spring facilities were excellent, especially the spacious, comfortable open-air bath and sauna. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal rather than a buffet because of the coronavirus, and it was nice to have coffee after eating. The hotel seemed surprisingly quiet for a place with such a good hot spring, so I think it's an underrated recommendation. It's right by the Fukuchiyama interchange, with a convenience store directly in front for shopping. The building feels old, but it's large, spacious, and clean.

The rooms are small, much like those in any business hotel. The onsen was the only thing I liked, but I was told to leave because I have a tattoo. That really surprised me. I'd been living in Japan for almost two years and had visited many onsen without any problems.
