The public bath is a nice change from the room shower, since you can stretch out and relax there. The free buffet breakfast was fantastic, with eggs and sausage, fried meat and fish, noodles, side dishes, soup, and rice. We ate so well. I'd stay again just for breakfast. Getting around is less convenient. It's a 7-8 minute walk from the train station, and bus or tram stops and convenience stores require crossing a high-traffic road. The room is small even for a business hotel, so two people can fit but it'll be tight. Beds and pillows are extremely firm, which might make a long stay tough if you need something softer. WiFi is solid, and there are several power outlets plus USB-A.

We stayed one night. The onsen had a strong chlorine smell, which I didn't like. People with tattoos can't go in, though the website already says that. Breakfast seemed to be frozen food. For a sweet option there was only bread and jam, and everything else was savory.

During five weeks of traveling from northern to southern Japan, this was easily my favorite hotel. It was very clean and so quiet, a welcome break from the other hotels. I couldn't fault it.

The employees were really kind, supportive, and polite. Breakfast was good, though I was sad there was no nattou, my favorite in the morning. The business hotel felt a bit dark, but its quality was relatively better than hotels in other cities.
