Accord Hotel

The staff were nice, but the room was only fair, so I’m leaving two stars. The toilet always smelled, the table wasn’t clean, and the room was quite small for what we paid, around 28000 yen for two nights. There was no soundproofing either. I could hear someone snoring in the next room, which felt pretty weird. Basic services were limited for that price.

I had a pleasant stay, and the location was good, fairly close to Canal City and Hakata station. My double room was very clean and cost around 5000 yen, with free shuttles to Hakata station every 15 minutes. The soundproofing wasn’t great, though. I could hear people coming and going and using hair dryers.

The rooms were clean and the location was good, but this is a very basic business hotel, with tiny rooms and only basic services. I stayed at the Daiwa hotel a few days earlier for just a little more money and had a much nicer experience, so I’m giving this one three stars.

We had a bad experience here. Our flight was delayed because of Typhoon Krosa on 15/08/2019, and we booked this hotel for one night. I hadn’t checked the checkout time, and room service came to tell me they needed to clean the room. We packed everything, changed clothes, and left right away, but the staff still charged us 500 yen per person for being 15 minutes late. They did let us leave our luggage without charge, but that bill still earned the hotel one star from me.
