VIXIV 7.
There weren't many outlets in the room, so if you're coming with a group or have lots of chargers, you may want to bring a power strip or multi-prong adapter. The building isn't very soundproof, though I'm not sure whether we were too loud for the neighbors. A convenience store is about five minutes away near Yakuin Station. There's a 100-yen bus to Hakata and Tenjin, but walking takes 20-30 minutes. It's a pleasant walk if the weather's good. I had no major issues with the accommodation. The nearby train tracks do mean you can hear trains now and then.

I arrived at the building near Hakata Station by 7:00 PM, got my PIN code, and went straight to the apartment. Checkout was easy since I didn't have to go to Hakata Station. It's a standard apartment with bunk beds and a pull-out bed underneath, enough for three people. There was a fridge, washing machine, microwave, and air conditioning. I could heat up convenience store bento and keep costs down. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided, and I could soak in the tub. The toilet is separate from the bathroom and has a Western-style seat, but no washlet. I was a bit annoyed there were no slippers. The sink was by the bed, and there was a hair dryer. With the extra bed out, the room felt cramped around the table. A convenience store is nearby, along with a Saga beef yakiniku restaurant with all-you-can-eat rice-cooked, a Japanese restaurant, and a Chinese restaurant, though I didn't try them this time. Yakuin Station is conveniently close. It said there'd be a tablet, but there wasn't one. This apartment-style place is cheaper than a regular hotel and works well for groups of three or families on multi-night stays. There's parking next door with a 300 yen maximum overnight charge, convenient if you're driving and there's a space available.

It has everything you need and is super cheap. The only drawback is that it's far from the major cities.
