Bios Hotel Hakata

Calling this a hotel feels misleading when there's no service. The check-in counter is about a ten-minute drive from the so-called hotel. We stayed five nights and got no housekeeping or cleaning, and there were no spare towels to replace ours. They don't provide guest parking either, yet the price was an unreasonable HKD2,000 a night. We asked the front desk to help book a table, and they simply said they wouldn't help. There's no customer service and no cleaning service. How can they call it a hotel? If this company is operated by Japanese people, I'd say those guys are shameless.

The apartment has a kitchen, laundry in the unit, and a balcony, which is great if you want a large place. It's very close to Canal City, though a bit far from Hakata Station. Be sure to pick up the room keys before heading to the building.

The room was filthy, and the bed felt sticky and dirty. I don't think it had been cleaned at all, and I wouldn't recommend requesting their cleaning service. The air conditioner didn't work properly either. Also, Hakata Station is a 13-minute walk away, not the three minutes claimed on the website.

I paid $189US for one night and was really disappointed. There was nobody to help at the property, and no front desk or staff at this supposed hotel. I had to make about five calls before learning that the key had to be collected at a different location. Parking wasn't provided, so I had to find it myself. I'm disappointed that Booking listed this as a hotel. It felt like a building owned by someone who doesn't care about guest service. I hope people read this before wasting their time and money.
