Fukuoka Hana Hostel

The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space, and the facilities were clean. The staff were very nice too. Great location for a great price, and the free coffee was genuinely fresh.

I arrived late at night, but a staff member was still on duty to help me. The staff were really nice and spoke good English, so communicating was no problem. The location is good, and although the place may seem old for what it costs per night, it’s well maintained. I love this place and would definitely book here again if I return to Fukuoka.

The room was quiet, the bed was clean, and I didn’t hear noise despite being close to the city centre. In the lounge, there’s a communal feel, especially among Western tourists, and it’s easy for people to chat and share a sense of togetherness. The female staff member was talkative, friendly, and keen to speak English, and the guests warmed up to each other quickly. One of the best hotels for international backpackers in Fukuoka.

The night staff member Yas is a great drinking buddy if you’re looking for someone to chat with. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, and the place is near two subway stations, so getting around is easy. I recently stayed here while visiting Fukuoka and had an absolute delight of a time.
