The location was okay, though not ideal, since you need to take the subway to reach the main station. My return stay was only one night after the first, so I asked reception before checking out not to put me in a particular room. They acknowledged the request and said they’d arrange it. When I came back the next day, I was given exactly the room I’d asked to avoid, and nobody apologized. Staff kept replying, “I don’t know,” and seemed to make little effort to fix things. Because of the room mix-up, I had to haul two large suitcases and a carry-on up and down several times. Nobody offered to help. The miscommunication, lack of accountability, and basic hospitality made the whole thing really frustrating, especially with such a short gap between stays.

A stop on the metro gets you to Fukuoka airport, and the station is right outside. Sunny supermarket and several restaurants are close by. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. They also stored my luggage after my 10AM check-out, so I could pick it up a few hours later.

That open atrium was uncomfortable. They should cover it! 😡 Check-in is through a self-service kiosk. They explain the cleaning schedule when you arrive: rooms and sheets are changed every three days, not daily. Each morning, a small bag of fresh towels and amenities is left outside your door, and you leave used towels out too. It’s a discreet, efficient setup that keeps things tidy without interrupting your stay. 👌 The standard pillow is a traditional "sobagara makura" filled with buckwheat hulls. The rooms are compact, as is typical in Japan, but the space is used well. My suitcase fit under the bed. Check-out is at 10am, which makes sense when cleaning staff may be alone on a floor with 20 rooms. Luggage storage is available at the front desk too. I didn’t try the breakfast. There’s a Sunny supermarket next door, and the room has a fridge and kettle, plus free coffee sticks, so you’re well covered. The location is practical rather than scenic: the subway entrance is right there, and the airport is 10 minutes away. On the second floor there are coin-operated washing machines, a microwave, and a free ice machine. 😍

I booked three rooms for my family at different times and asked if we could be on the same floor. The staff managed to put us close together and were friendly and helpful. The location is extremely accessible, near the subway, airport, convenience store and restaurants, with a supermarket behind the hotel.
