It’s a good spot for families with kids, with a pleasant setting and useful facilities. Right in central Hakara, too, and the bus stop and taxi stand on the main road are about a five-minute walk away.

Even with four people, we had a large room. The location was quiet, which was nice.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Japan, and this was my worst experience. The futon had a big yellow stain and felt really unsanitary and uncomfortable. It looked like the sheets hadn’t even been checked when they were changed. After sleeping on it, my child developed an allergic skin reaction. I can’t accept that at a hotel, and it makes me feel there’s no proper hygiene management. I’ve lost a lot of trust in their quality control and won’t stay here again. Be careful, and don’t be taken in by the photos or advertising.

It’s new, clean, and in a great location. That’s about all I liked. The slippers provided all smelled awful. One had a coffee smell, and the other smelled like shoes that had gotten wet in the rain and dried out. I ended up going out to buy slippers so I could relax. There was also a smell in the room, lol. Maybe I’m too sensitive. There was a long hair on the pile of towels. It may have been a coincidence, but between that and the slippers, I wanted to wash things first. There wasn’t a washing machine. The bed sash is meant to let people lie on the bed with shoes on without getting it dirty, but all the towels were put on top of it, one set per bed. Shoes aren’t allowed indoors, but as I mentioned, the slippers had a really strong foot smell. The sash was at the foot of the bed, where people may put their feet before bathing, and I couldn’t tell whether it gets washed each time. I was surprised they put it there. I’m sure some people in this country enter their rooms with shoes on and put their feet on the bed. There was construction nearby around 8 or 9 in the morning, with loud metal hammering that kept going. Keep that in mind if you want a quiet morning. It was very quiet at night. Thanks for the reply. I’m glad, and was impressed. I’m adding this to avoid any misunderstanding.

We stayed for two nights, three days, and the room itself was comfortable and large enough for up to six people. For the price, I think it would be hard to find a place of this quality. There aren’t many attractions nearby, though, so I’d suggest it if you’re after somewhere quiet. Finding it was a challenge. Google Maps mostly showed Grand Base Fukuoka and other accommodations, and the location pin wasn’t accurate either. The entrance is small and inside the building, so I walked past it a few times. Once I found it, getting to the front desk was easy. Check-in was by video call. I don’t know Japanese or English, so when I couldn’t communicate, they showed me the steps in Korean by video. It was basically paying the accommodation tax and getting the room password.
