Hotel ACQUA MYU

The front desk was the one pleasant part of my stay, but I won't be using this hotel again. I booked the day before and paid over 15,000 yen including tax, which felt far too expensive. The dusty glass shelves and shabby interior looked as if they hadn't been cleaned. The built-in air conditioner's louvers were hanging loose and tilted, and the bathtub was peeling inside and dirty. Honestly, it was like a failing love hotel out in the countryside. I think 5,000 yen would be about right.

We paid 14,000 yen for two people, and I wouldn't give this place even one star. I didn't want to fill the dirty bathtub, so I only showered. The sink was grimy too, and I hesitated to brush my teeth or rinse my mouth there. The toiletries were all watered down, so bring your own. It was freezing in the room. I turned down the air conditioner because it made the air dry, but I nearly froze when I woke up. I'll never stay in a hotel this dirty and cold again.

I can have a quick one and head home without my affair being found out.

The bed was rock hard, the heating didn't work, and I woke up every hour with back pain and from the cold. The bathtub was too small for two people, and there were very few outlets, with none beside the bed. The website mentions a wake-up call feature, but I couldn't find it, so keep that in mind if you need a morning alarm. I was already regretting the stay after finding Baby Star Ramen crumbs all over, including on the sofa. I couldn't believe housekeeping missed them, and didn't want to sit there. The bathroom cups had white grime on the bottom; I reluctantly tried washing them with hand soap, then found there was no hand soap at all. The website also promised free ice cream in the first-floor lobby and a welcome drink, but neither was there. I was looking forward to the ice cream and was shocked. Please stop making false claims. They don't provide condoms either, so remember to bring them.
