The place was clean and new, and the help was kind. It was even better than I expected, and I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel was very clean, and the bar was useful. It's well equipped, though if you stay more than 3 days, you might run out of garbage bags. There's a supermarket near the subway station for browsing and picking up reasonably priced food if you want to cook. A drugstore nearby also sells groceries. There's a 7-11 on the walk from the station, and a Lawson right by the hotel. To get there from Fukuoka Airport, take the Airport Line to Hakata, transfer to the Nanakuma Line to Yakuin, then walk about 3 minutes from Exit 2. Yakuin also has a Nishitetsu Noriba station, which is handy for connecting to the Omuta Line. If you take the JR, go directly to Hakata on the Nanakuma Line and transfer. The ride takes about 10 minutes. You need to call to check in, but there are Chinese-speaking staff, which is very convenient.

We found parking outside for 400 yen from evening until 8 a.m., then 100 yen per hour. With a car, that felt much cheaper than parking in Tokyo or Osaka. The hotel is about five minutes from Yakuin Station, with a 7-Eleven nearby and a supermarket by the station exit, so we bought water, alcohol, and toilet paper before heading back. Room 201 had three beds, which suited our family of three, and the air conditioning was comfortable. There were two big TVs, and it was amusing that using both remotes at once changed channels. The bathroom dryer worked really well, so washing and drying clothes was easy and we didn't need to pay for laundry elsewhere. Getting to 201 means climbing a tall, steep, narrow staircase. Keep that in mind if you're with older people. Men may find it easier to carry the luggage up. In the room, the single small window left things dim even with all the lights on, and there aren't many lights. A floor lamp would help. The AC is close to the bed, so if it's set too high the person beside it gets cold. The bedside table is tiny, barely enough for a phone or iPad, let alone a beer bottle. The check-in iPad by the door flashes at random, especially at night, which bothered us when sharing a bed. You may want to cover it with some clothing. Remember to bring toilet paper, as other Google reviews mention. I'd give it 7/10.

Bring your own toilet paper if you go through a lot of it. A few additions would make the place more convenient: a little shelf in the bathroom for phones, dishcloths and a drying rack in the kitchen, plus a sitz bath chair in the bathroom.
