The staff were professional and friendly, and the location is convenient. The rooms are extremely small and the AC makes a lot of noise. There are also several large stains on the carpets by the elevators on multiple floors, and those really detract from how the hotel looks. They need to clean the carpets.

The staff are nice, and there’s a microwave and fridge available. But the room had a strange smell as soon as I entered, and the carpet inside was very dirty. The name is easy to confuse with another hotel, ‘Hotel LiveMax Fukuoka Tenjin West,’ which is in a better location, and many guests ended up at the wrong place. Also, losing a key card costs 61 USD, MORE THAN A NIGHT OF STAY.

The room stank and was nasty. I wanted to switch rooms, but the Japanese person at the front desk was mean when talking to me. They said changing would cost extra and offered a temporary room. I waited for a call in the afternoon, but none came. When my boyfriend and I went to reception, they said we needed to pay again. I had no choice because I had to leave in the morning. They said it would cost ¥26000 to change rooms.

The location makes it easy to get to Fukuoda’s iconic places, and overall the stay was good. The room is a little small, like in some modernized Japanese hotels.
