Tokyu Stay Hakata

The location is great, about a five-minute walk from Hakata station, and they offer free luggage storage if you arrive early or leave for a day. Check-in with staff was smooth, and the service felt hotel-level despite the BNB-like room setup. The room had a large, comfortable bed with good-quality linen, was very clean, and truly non-smoking. There’s a lot packed into it: a microwave, induction stove, wash basin, washing machine, selectable heating and air conditioning, 4K Sony TV, air purifier and humidifier, refrigerator, and ironing board. Although it’s beside the railways, soundproofing keeps train noise to a minimum. Recommended!

We were greeted warmly at reception, and the staff stayed cheerful, courteous, and helpful through check-in. The Moderate Double Room was a good size for two adults, and it was clean, with a comfortable bed. The shower was fabulous, with exceptionally strong water pressure, and having a washer-dryer in the room was a huge plus for us. Thank you for everything. We highly recommend this hotel.

The in-room washing machine was a big highlight, especially for a longer stay, and the room was more spacious than I expected. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a comfortable bed, so I slept very well. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. Hakata Station is just a short walk away, with easy access to JR, the subway, and Shinkansen. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Great value for money, and I’d definitely stay again when visiting Fukuoka.

What stood out most was the help from Akira, Nakashima, and the front desk team. I left my bag on a bus, and during my overnight stay they called the bus company three separate times to follow up and try to find it. Their persistence, kindness, and concern meant a lot during a stressful situation. The hotel itself was comfortable and convenient, with easy access to Hakata Station, public transport, restaurants, and shops. Facilities were well maintained, and the in-room washer was a big plus. My room was spotless, and the strong shower pressure felt especially good after a long day of travel. It all felt thoughtfully designed and well cared for. I’d absolutely stay at Tokyu Stay Hakata again, and highly recommend it for the staff’s hospitality as well as the comfort and location.
