Toyoko Inn Hakata-eki Bus Terminal Mae

The breakfast includes rice balls and bread, and the staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are bigger than the ones I've had in Tokyo and Osaka, and the location is great, close to Hakata station and the bus terminal. As at other Toyoko Inns, there's only one lift, which isn't enough at checkout time.

Close to Hakata station and the bus station, with affordable rates and friendly staff. Breakfast has onigiri, yum. The ground floor has amenities, a washing machine, a microwave, and a water station.

Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a Toyoko INN. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the bus terminal, but there's just one elevator, so getting to or from your floor takes time. Noise was a real problem. I could hear a lot from the corridor and outside the window, especially trains and emergency vehicles. I strongly feel the windows should be improved to block outside noise.

For budget travel, this is still my first choice. The space is reasonable for the price, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm taking off one star because the clock made a faint noise, though maybe I'm just too sensitive to little sounds.
