Hananose

Dinner was included in the roughly 12,000 yen per night price, and the portions were generous as well as delicious. With prices rising these days, that felt like a great deal. The room had a wonderful view of the cliffs and river, and the luxurious interior was spacious. The top-floor bath had an amazing view, too. There was a free shuttle to Iizaka Onsen Station, and the stay was very satisfying. I'd love to return.

We came for a class reunion, and it was a lovely, relaxing inn. The food was delicious and the baths were great.

The meals were a real hit, both in quality and quantity, and having dinner and breakfast served in our room was a huge help with children aged 3 and 0. We stayed over the Obon holiday. The lounge had a gorgeous feel, with stylish antique and Japanese-style decor that I personally loved, and our room lighting felt luxurious. The room was Japanese-style, with a sofa, desk, and balcony, though that may differ by room. It had a separate bath and toilet, plus a sink and refrigerator, with beer and other items costing extra. There was also a kettle, cold water pitcher, coffee, and more. The public bath is on the 8th floor. We were glad to find a barley tea dispenser by the entrance. The men's bath had one or two indoor baths, two open-air baths, and a sauna. At night, the moon and stars were clear from the open-air bath; in the morning the rocky outcrop gave it a completely different feel. We also used the private bath on the 4th floor. You reserve it at the first-floor front desk and borrow the key. The tub was a good size, with two showers. The water was a little hot, but our family could relax and enjoy it. There are two elevators, and all the staff were very kind. Apparently guests can also use the baths at sister inn [Tsuki no Se], with transportation available. The inn was quiet, and the subtle bird-chirping background music in the hallways was pleasant. It became a wonderful memory from our family summer vacation. I enjoyed the stay, but my wife loved it especially. We'd definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much!

We stayed from August 10th to 11th, and the service was very polite and made us feel comfortable. The room was spacious, and I loved that it had a cypress bath, though I didn't use it. Dinner was Fukushima beef sukiyaki with sashimi, both delicious and filling, so I was very satisfied.
