Hotel pasionresort - Adults only

It was just so dirty. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned, with a black, dirty bowl and an ammonia smell. The sink seemed to have been cleaned too, but it was clogged and wouldn’t drain, so I had to ask my boyfriend to clear the blockage. I was left wondering why. The air conditioner kept creaking. I know it’s old and dirty, but I’d at least expect basic cleaning. I don’t think it was worth the price.

It’s a 600m walk from Fukushima Station. The trains stopped running, so I had no choice but to find somewhere near the station. I checked Booking.com, but every hotel seemed full, so I booked this one in a hurry. The reception staff were nice, and the bathroom was large with a great selection of bath salts. The atmosphere felt a bit creepy, though, like I was being watched in my room. Cleanliness was just okay. I ordered omelet rice for breakfast, but at 7 AM I couldn’t believe they’d already sold out of hot dogs. The taste was average. For the same price, ¥8500, I think I’d be better off booking somewhere else.

The room was small because the price was low, but it worked fine for what I needed.

This was my first time staying here. The atmosphere was great and the room was clean. I was especially impressed by how thoughtful and considerate the slightly chubby man at the reception desk was. I’ll definitely use this hotel again when I visit Fukushima!
