The staff were super friendly, and they let me bring my bike into the room. That’s ideal when you’re out bikepacking!

The location is handy, right outside the station, and the rooms were pretty clean. The staff were especially kind and polite, even suggesting places to visit. I’d stay again next time I’m in Fukushima.

I found Richmond Hotel Fukushima comfortable and convenient. It’s close to the station, which worked well for my visit, and the rooms were clean, modern, and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of fresh, tasty choices. Free Wi-Fi and a cozy lounge were nice extras. I thought it was good value and a useful base for exploring Fukushima.

The service was nice and the room was okay, but breakfast was mediocre. I’d skip it and get something at the konbini downstairs or a nearby cafe instead. My morning was spoiled by a big brown cockroach. Staff came right away when I told them, but it had already run off, which was worse because I had no idea where it went.
