Being right beside the station made this a great deal for my Fukuyama stay. The room was very spacious, quiet thanks to good soundproofing, and I even had a view of the castle. For a budget traveler, it was easily the best hotel I stayed at on my trip. There’s a shower space as well as the usual Japanese hotel bathtub, and the Smart TV has HD channels and lets you share your screen.

Fukuyama is a lovely little city, and we could see Fukuyama Castle from the hotel. Our room had enough space for three, with good amenities and a steamer iron that was a nice extra. The station is right across the street and the castle is an easy walk away. This has been our favorite hotel in Japan so far. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we’ll definitely come back.

When our daughter became ill and needed to go to a hospital, the hotel staff helped us far more than we could have managed on our own as international travelers. They called several places and arranged an ambulance during our medical emergency. We’re so grateful for their help. The location is directly across from Fukuyama train station, and Fukuyama Castle is within walking distance. You can see the castle from rooms on the station side. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, and each has a massage chair that’s handy after a long day walking around.

Right in the middle of Fukuyama’s action, this is a great hotel to stay at. The one surprise was the slightly old-fashioned TV. On my Japan trip, a lot of hotels had Chromecast, and this one didn’t.

I enjoyed my stay here on a business trip. The room was spacious and had all the amenities, and the train station, restaurants, and shopping centers were close by.
