The blankets were warm and very comfortable, and the house was clean and spacious. Towels, a hairdryer, and a washing machine are provided, though there’s no dryer and you have to hang clothes to dry. The toilet and bath are separate, but the toilet area near the entrance gets a bit cold. Since heating was needed in winter, there was an extra 1000 yen charge. It’s handy to reach Forest Elf Terrace, Huanhan Village (same location), and Furano Cheese Factory by car. After checking in, you can add the manager on Line for help with any problems. You do need to call on arrival and they’ll drive over quickly. It would be helpful to add the manager on Line on check-in day, since international calls are expensive and I sometimes worry about having a poor signal. I’d stay here again if I get the chance. There are lots of scenic spots nearby for a walk, and in summer the weather was generally pleasant. I found the guesthouse very comfortable, with plenty of kitchenware from the host and a convenient separate bathroom and toilet. There’s also a washing machine. The bedroom has tatami, and it was a lovely experience making up a Japanese-style sleeping space on it. We could stargaze at night, too. Highly recommended.

It’s a quiet, roomy country house with a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, bath, tub, washing machine, and parking. Ningle Terrace, Wind Garden, and Morinotokei are all in the same neighborhood, which made the location a big draw. Body wash, shampoo, towels, and cutlery are supplied, and you can ask the host for a toothbrush. Check-in is possible before 10 PM; call when you arrive and the host will come from their nearby home. Arriving and leaving are simple, though knowing some basic Japanese helps if you need to ask for anything. I was a little disappointed there was no Wi-Fi or English instructions, but I liked having the privacy of a whole house.

Everything suited me on my recent Furano trip: the room was spotless, there were plenty of amenities, and both the location and price were great. I would have happily stayed longer. Thanks so much, and I’ll definitely come back if I visit Furano again.
