Ishitei furano

It’s a great place in central Furano, with easy access to the station and town centre. If you’re planning to ski, though, the slopes are quite far away.

New, in a great location, and just perfect!

For six people, two nights cost around 140,000 yen, which felt very reasonable. The place was spacious, clean and really nice. There was a wine cellar, and the kitchen had detergent but no seasonings. The rice cooker only holds three cups. Pajamas weren’t provided, though the basic necessities were. Furano Marche supermarket was a 5-6 minute walk away, so we bought breakfast there. Upstairs were two bedrooms, each with a toilet and shower. One also had a bathtub. There was another toilet downstairs. We had to check in at the front desk of the managing hotel, a three-minute walk away. We could park one car right in front of the hostel and the other beside the hotel, which was already completed. I’d definitely stay again if I get the chance.

The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher, so it’s a good choice if you like cooking. The bathroom is well equipped too, with pajamas and slippers, and there’s a washer/dryer with detergent. The bedroom is upstairs, which makes hauling luggage difficult, and there aren’t many electrical outlets. It’s within walking distance of the station, supermarkets and restaurants. Check-in means walking five minutes to the adjacent restaurant, and for checkout you have to call from the room.
