The uncle was nice and used an iPad to translate. The ryokan style room was cool and reminded me of Doraemon, and some rooms have neat little sculptures and displays. It's also one of the more affordable places in the area, and there's a ride service from the accommodation to the station 🥰 My heater wasn't working, but the uncle tried to fix it and brought a replacement. Toothpaste and toothbrushes aren't provided. Towels aren't provided either, though a small one may be available if you ask. Parts of the room were a little dusty, and the room bin was a bit dirty. It seemed like they emptied the rubbish but didn't change the plastic liner. The shower was only available for a short window, from 5 to 7pm, because it was being cleaned after 9pm. He called me when it was ready.

It's close to a supermarket, and the owner is kind and helpful. He'll give you a ride to the slopes for a small fee.

I particularly liked the sento style bathroom and the pretty back garden. We visited in summer, when it was quiet, and the fan helped us sleep well. We booked at the last minute and got a really good price. The owner was very nice and took the time to explain everything. He put a lot of effort into communicating with us despite our limited Japanese. The hotel is well located near the amenities.

The house has a sweet, peaceful Japanese atmosphere, and we had a great time here. The host was pleasant and explained what we needed to know about our stay and activities around Furano. It's a 15 minute walk from JR station, and the host offered to drive us there if we wanted. I fully recommend staying here when you're in Furano.

The owner was friendly, very kind, and gave good service. The walk to the station takes around 15-20 minutes. The bathroom is shared, with separate facilities for men and women, and towels aren't provided, though you can rent them for a reasonable price. I stayed in mid-August, during summer. It was very hot and I couldn't sleep because there was no air conditioner, only a fan. The owner said he had already asked Agoda to update the hotel information, but it hadn't changed. I think this place may be more suitable in another season.
