There were plenty of drinks, cooking tools, and seasonings, and I liked the view from the room. The nearby pier was less pleasant, though. Fishermen were there from early morning until late at night, and their gaze made us uncomfortable. We also had trouble figuring out the second-floor projector remote. At first it only let us use the internet, so we couldn't watch terrestrial TV. When we asked the next day, someone brought another remote, but I wish that had been explained from the start. The room wear was just short-sleeved shirts and shorts, and we would have preferred long-sleeved tops and long pants too. No one mentioned that the second-floor table could be raised or extended. Breakfast on our second day wasn't very inventive.

The cold plunge after the sauna was a little high to climb into, so a step stool would help. And in summer, a small cooler-style fridge on the first-floor balcony would make BBQs easier, since we wouldn't have to keep going inside for cold drinks. The large projector was impressive, though the speakers felt weak. Extra 6D speakers could make it more immersive. There were at least two dead pixels on the projector in our room, which was disappointing. I know dead pixels on LCDs are considered unacceptable, though I don't see them often these days. One more thing: when you sign in to a service like Amazon Prime, your login stays there even after the projector is switched off. You have to log out manually in settings. For lodging, a kiosk mode that clears login details when the power goes off would be better. The place still stands out as the best resort facility I've stayed in, and I'd definitely come back. It feels like a private resort where you can really get away, and the appliances, kitchen equipment, and other amenities are all top-notch. The loungewear was comfortable too. A few practical changes would help: the bathroom mirror wasn't anti-fog, so a heated defogger would be nice if it doesn't already have one. The equipment manual is available through a QR code, but a printed copy in a clear file would be easier to use. Voice control for the lights and air conditioner, or a dedicated tablet for the lights, air conditioner, and curtains, could make things more convenient.

We caught rockfish and black porgy from the rocky shore, then had them as sashimi and in the provided aqua pazza at dinner. We also rented a kayak and took our dog out, snorkeled, and went fishing. We stayed several nights with our family of five, including our dog, after choosing this waterfront place for the Obon holiday because it welcomes dogs. The ocean is right there, just a minute or two away on foot. It was windy while we were visiting and visibility was only about 2 meters, so the water wasn't particularly clear. Still, since it's a rocky coast, I imagine visibility may be better than at nearby beaches. There's also a diving pool from 1.2 to 3 meters deep, and the marine shop next door rents SUPs, kayaks, and snorkeling gear and offers diving licenses. The food was average, so don't expect too much, and portions were generally small. Younger guests might be disappointed. There were a decent number of free drinks in the fridge. The room sauna was a bit tight for two, but it could be set to 110 degrees and reached 95 degrees, so it worked for loyly. The staff were very kind, and the place is right on the ocean with a sea view, which was great for ocean lovers. The layout did feel cramped, though. There are five buildings and only one allows dogs. The maisonette rooms don't allow dogs upstairs, there wasn't a dining area big enough for five, and there were only four beds, so even four people could feel crowded depending on the arrangement. There was no outdoor BBQ table to set food on either.

The white room looked lovely, and the view was great. The TV setup was frustrating, though. On arrival day I wanted to watch a program, but the signal was weak and some channels wouldn't show. I assumed it was just downstairs, so I tried the second floor too, with no luck. It came back the next morning, then dropped out again partway through. Disney Channel was fine until I logged in and picked a show. After that it stayed stuck loading, no matter how many times I tried, so I gave up. The TV experience was disappointing.

We had a great time, especially with the Uno, playing cards, and Nintendo Switch they had available. The room was very clean, with a fantastic ocean view right outside. The pool was saltwater, and being able to use it until 9 pm was great. They carefully explained all the equipment and had everything provided, so we felt at ease.
