The Japanese-style breakfast was a real highlight: usually an onsen egg, salad, a fish or tofu main, rice, and miso soup. Lunch is served on Wednesdays and weekends, and dinner is available every night. I posted a photo of the dinner menu QR code. It’s an easy 12-minute walk from the station, with a Lawson’s close by and a local onsen across the road. Staff were incredibly kind, and Hace was quick to respond. The upstairs common area had a friendly feel, though the communal table was small. There’s also a bar serving food downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped. Several rooms share the showers, washing facilities, and bathrooms, and the upstairs toilet felt cramped, especially for a middle-of-the-night visit. Rooms are mostly taken up by the beds, but there are hooks and conveniently placed power outlets. For a backpacker, it feels pretty luxurious. It’s an easygoing hostel with friendly staff.

A simply good place.

Just normal.

The bed was super comfortable, and the access was great. There’s a convenience store next door and a bathhouse diagonally across the street. I came on a motorcycle trip, but I’d happily bring my family too. Great place for the price, and I’ll definitely come back.

We had dinner in the first-floor dining room and enjoyed chatting with the owner. The stay was reasonably priced, and there are rooms just for women. There’s a hot spring diagonally across the street, and the water was piping hot! ♨️
