Yenn's Marina Inn Mercy

We were comfortable staying indoors for a full 24 hours when the typhoon left us stuck in the room, and we didn’t feel unsafe. The hotel has a staffed reception, clean rooms, and helpful, polite staff. Their English may be limited, but they use an iPad with Google Translate. There’s a restaurant with tasty food at reasonable prices, plus two free drinks per guest each day. Our room had a washing machine and a small kitchen with pots, pans, plates, and cutlery. It also had both a regular bed and tatami bed, with room for four to sleep comfortably, a ceiling fan with remote, working AC, and a low table and higher mini table with four chairs. The balcony didn’t have much of a view. There are about 21 free parking spaces for guests and a medium-sized supermarket 100 meters away for groceries. Convenience stores are nearby too, with McDonald’s and Domino’s Pizza a short drive away, as well as a Gyu-Kaku yakiniku buffet. The room door has a way to lock and unlock, which was no big deal. The main downside for me was no smart TV for YouTube or Netflix. The hotel is in a residential area, so it suits people driving themselves. It’s closer to southern attractions and the airport, while visiting the north means a lot of back-and-forth driving. I’d suggest staying nearer the north for that part of a trip, then choosing this place for the second half. I’d definitely book here again.
