Thank you so much to Pitt inn and Koji San. Koji San was incredibly helpful and such a lovely person to meet in Japan.

I needed a bed and breakfast that would take my medium-sized dog while I caught a ferry, and this was the only place I found. I was really grateful for that. The room itself was clean and nice, but the air conditioning was a disaster. Even on the lowest temperature setting it didn't cool at all, and after three hours I was still sweating like I was in a sauna. That's awful when travelling with a dog in summer. They provide bath towels and toothbrushes, but since it's a homestay bed and breakfast, bring your other daily necessities. I think it could be worthwhile for experienced travellers.

The room they arranged for the four of us was great, and the service was excellent. I was surprised by the confirmation call when we checked in, but the guesthouse was clean and well equipped, and everyone left happy.

The parking lot is spacious enough for campervans. It also looked as though a bonfire or barbecue might be possible, though I'm not sure. This might suit people who enjoy camping, but it wasn't for me. For two people, it cost over 20,000 yen for one night. I understand peak season made it expensive, but I had really hoped to stay in a Japanese-style room or an old farmhouse like the ones in other reviews' photos. Instead, it was a container-style or prefabricated building. Our room was about four tatami mats, with one bed, a futon on the floor, a table, fridge, and TV. The toilet, sink, and bath were in a separate building and shared with the neighbors.
