The location was excellent, and I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance. The landlady was so kind and attentive, which touched me. I slept very well, and the food was delicious. There was also a cute cat at the inn that was very soothing. The place had lots of useful amenities and showed real attention to detail.

They looked exactly alike. The room had a newer air conditioner and a small TV, while the toilet, bath, and refrigerator were shared.
I was on a bicycle trip from Tokyo to Aomori when I stayed here. The landlady was so thoughtful and kind, which made me very happy. The cat was adorable and even wandered into our room to welcome us. I regret not taking a photo, but the next morning, as I was seeing her off, the cat sat right behind the landlady as if saying goodbye! It made a great memory. I'll definitely visit again.
I came to stay while skiing at Appi Kogen. I'd ridden past this inn on an autumn mountain climb before, but hadn't noticed it until this visit. As the landlady was about to show me to my room, the resident cat popped its head out right away. I was told dinner was a larger-than-usual special, though even the regular serving sounded generous, lol. Along with beer, I got to try homemade plum wine. After dinner I had a lovely time with the landlady, her son, some regulars, and a visitor from Germany. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.
