Tucked away from the busy streets, with lots of privacy and seclusion.

The menu is available for ordering, though the portions and dishes tend to be quite heavy. Bringing your own food and drinks ahead of time might give you more choice. Shampoo is free, and you can borrow different kinds of pillows. The standard amenities seemed average for this price range, so if you have specific preferences, bringing your own could make things more comfortable. The hotel is just before Hakodate’s love hotel area. Its garage-style setup lets you come and go without running into other guests or staff, which is useful if you’d rather keep to yourself. Wi-Fi is free, and you can pay by credit card.

This is a love hotel in Hakodate City’s Higashiyama district, up a slight hill with a nice view over downtown. I’d rather not discuss personal experiences because of the privacy issues around this kind of place, so I’m keeping the photos and review limited to what seems appropriate. It’s a little old, but the TV is huge. The rooms are airtight and get warm with just the air conditioner. I liked the artificial hot spring in the bath. It apparently becomes one just by adding hot water, and I still wonder how the tub is designed and whether there’s some secret to its construction. It’s a pretty nice place, though the automatic payment machines don’t accept old bills, which is a bit of a problem. I blame the government for constantly changing bills without considering self-employed people. It seems the Ministry of Finance doesn’t care about the cost of changing all those machines. If you have a complaint, take it to the Ministry of Finance. I wonder if people stay here alone. It looks possible, and apparently lots of women come for lively girls’ get-togethers. There’s another nearby hotel with almost the same name, so be careful.

I was visiting from Shizuoka Prefecture and didn’t know the area. They were very polite while making the reservation and kindly wished me well when I headed out. I really appreciated it. I liked staying here.

The staff were friendly, and the service was great. Best of all, there’s a washing machine in the love hotel. I’d like to come again. It’s in Higashiyama Town.
