Hakoneso

We stayed here with 10 people from three families, including four children in the early elementary school years. The kids seemed to enjoy the living room sofa. The interior design is outstanding, and the house was very comfortable. Having two restrooms was appreciated, and the facilities impressed us, including power points and Google TV. There’s a well-equipped kitchen with utensils, dishes, soy sauce, salt, pepper, oil, and even plastic wrap. The washing machine and gas dryer were especially handy for the children’s clothes. The place is about a 12-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. In summer it’s too hot for an easy walk, and the slope after crossing the river is steep, so I’d recommend a taxi. Walking is easy enough for adults. I’d like to come back, though we’ll have to talk about the price.

We’re planning a family trip to Hakone with seven people, and we think we’ve found a wonderful inn. We’re really looking forward to the stay.

We used the house as a base for a trip to Hakone with friends, and loved having the spacious, stylish place all to ourselves. Everything, from the outside and interior to the furniture and appliances, looked great. It was convenient, too, with the hot spring town easy to reach and a convenience store nearby. After our hot spring visits, we could unwind in the living room together and cook. We had a very comfortable stay and will definitely come back.

We had such a good time cooking together, it was our first girls' get-together in ages. The kitchen had excellent utensils, though we also enjoyed the hot springs and just sitting around chatting with our friends. There was loads of room to spread out, with two sofas, a big dining table and three bedrooms. The living room, doors, furniture and appliances all looked stylish, and the decor throughout the villa kept catching our eye. I especially loved the jasmine in the entrance hall and the driftwood pieces that looked like paintings. As someone who likes DIY, I kept spotting things I wanted to try copying. The rooms felt cheerful every time we walked in. Everyone was already talking about who to bring next time. I’d love to come back with my parents too. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!
