The view was cute, the onsen was good, and the staff were accommodating. I had a pleasant stay. Taxis are hard to find around here, so plan ahead. I’d rent a car, or expect to walk a bit to the nearest bus stops. I’d recommend taking the Odakyu Highway Bus to get here.

A very good spot to get some rest. It’s better to come by car. The bus takes a long time, and the mountain roads might make you dizzy.

This is my second time back at this awesome boutique resort. The common space is inspiring, the room is spacious, and the food is great. Hotel Manager Ito San is a delightful host. I’ll definitely come back to Lime again!

We had a great stay, with beautiful rooms and an onsen, free drinks, and friendly staff. It was an amazing experience.

The drinks were the highlight for me. There was unlimited alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, including champagne for the New Year holiday. You could pour them into the tumbler in your room, though I accidentally put a hot drink in it and broke it. They might want to warn guests about that. There were rusks, persimmon seeds, and nuts too, so everything was well covered. In the lobby, we had fun grilling kamaboko (fish cakes) over the fireplace, an activity available only during the New Year holidays. We also used the large communal bath and were able to relax without running into anyone. The separate indoor wear was nice as well. I came during the year-end holidays hoping to relax in the hot springs. I usually travel to Hakone by car, but this time took the bus. It was crowded, and the mountain road could make you car sick. The inn is right next to the bus stop. Check-in and the explanation of the inn were thorough. A suite had opened up just before I arrived, so I chose it. It had an open-air hot spring bath and coffee machine, and the high ceiling made it feel spacious. The room’s air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted, so it was a bit cold. I booked without meals and requested breakfast. I had to bring dinner myself, but there was a microwave near the large bath, so that worked out. Breakfast was a buffet, probably because there were many guests. The rice was shiny and delicious. It’s a quiet inn I’d recommend.
