A clean, welcoming place, with a well-kept unit that had plenty of beds in the form of futons if you're happy to share rooms. Our family of four had lots of space. It's within walking distance of the train and hakone town, and there's a 7/11 plus a few restaurants nearby.

There's a bit of a walk from the railway station, though a bus stop right outside the villa has service to the station. You can also walk to a 7/11 and an onsen.

Right in the heart of Hakone Yumoto, this is a comfortable, well-equipped, spacious place for a family or group of friends. It makes a great base for exploring the beautiful area.

It's genuinely close to the station, which is convenient, but the nearest bus stop to the villa is frustrating. Most of the time, buses don't stop there. The unit was clean, yet had a really strong food smell throughout. I wouldn't expect that in a hotel or Airbnb, and it was very unpleasant.
