Wakoso Harmonious Light West

There’s room for a group here, with three bedrooms, including one up on the rooftop, plus two toilets and a bathroom. Gora Station is only about a five-minute walk away. If you’re driving, take care on the approach, since the roads get quite narrow.

The warmth really stood out in February, when it was -10C outside, and the rooms were spacious by Japanese standards with modern designer decor. Little details are thought through too: the kitchen light doubles as a projector, and it was already set up for Netflix. For a three-generation family, the location worked especially well. Grandparents who wanted quiet and less walking were about five minutes outside town, while the parents could get to Ginkatsu restaurant in two minutes. The kids had two lovely tatami beds up on the top floor, like tree houses. I’ve traveled to 50+ countries and hold Diamond status with major hotel chains. This is undoubtedly the best house I’ve rented for this kind of family trip. I’ll definitely be back many times.

A last-minute change to our plans led us to this place, and we were lucky to find it. It’s modern and super clean, with everything we needed and more. The countryside views and spot about five minutes from the station made it a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

The check-in and check-out directions were very clear, and having parking behind the house was convenient. The place was really nice and clean :)
