Creekside Chalets Hakuba

Step outside at night and look up, and you can see the stars. The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable.

Really nice place, and the unit felt very new and clean. There’s a washer and dryer, and they even provide laundry capsules.

When I stayed at Creekside Chalet shortly after it opened, I found it comfortable, very clean, and set up well for a longer visit. The simple interior has a warm, home-like feel. It’s a good base for skiing or snowboarding in the Hakuba area, with Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort nearby. Getting around is fairly easy: Escal Plaza at Hakuba Goryu is about 350m away on foot, Hakuba 47 Ski Resort is under a 10-minute drive, the nearest convenience store is around 5 minutes away by car, and restaurants and supermarkets are about 10 minutes away. The chalet has 88 square meters of space, with one king bedroom and two twin bedrooms. There are three induction cooktops and a full set of name-brand appliances, plus plenty of cute tableware for kids, including wine glasses. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. It also has a modern dishwasher, washing machine, and clothes dryer. One especially useful feature is the drying room, which has its own entrance. You can go straight in with wet clothes without bringing snow or mud through the main living area. It has boot and glove dryers, clothing hangers, and ski and snowboard racks, so gear can be ready for the next morning.
