We had a kitchen and fridge at Earl grey, which was handy for cooking and keeping food from lawson. The onsen in the shower room was lovely, and being able to use it from 4:30-9:30 in the afternoon was just right after skiing. Hiroshi was so nice and drove us to the ski field, bus terminal, and even to buy food. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, about a 10-15 minute walk from Hakuba town. Hiroshi’s English isn’t very good, but we could understand him by concentrating, and we used Google Translate to talk. We had a perfect stay and will definitely come back to Hakuba.

The onsen was great, and we loved staying here. The views, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. It’s a little outside the village, but Hiroshi made that easy by driving us in each morning and picking us up in the afternoon. He was extremely accommodating.

The fireplace was a nice touch, and my daughter tried the Japanese chess while our host did his best to teach her. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast delicious, and the owner was so nice. We had a great stay in January. Thank you, Hiroshi! Julia
