LUNA Lodge

We were four, two adults and kids aged 6 and 9, staying at Luna Lodge in February 2024. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and the kids really liked the common area. The lifts are across the road, or you can take a short bus ride to the main lifts where ski lessons are held; walking there is also possible. Paddy and the team were so friendly and helped us with everything, from answering questions and booking restaurants to strapping injuries. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. A great family place.

My son and I first stayed at Luna Lodge in January 2024, and liked it enough to book another visit for next year. We were a short walk from the lifts, with ski hire next door, a bus stop to the other resorts out front, and restaurants close by. Breakfast was included and tasty. Paddy and the team did a lot to make us comfortable, including arranging transport to and from dinner and booking our dinner reservations ahead of time.

We spent a week at Luna Lodge in January with our family of four. Hapo One ski field is right across the road, and the service was friendly, with Paddy being especially helpful. The rooms are a decent size, and the big common area has tables and couches where you can relax. It was good value compared with most places nearby.

We had a fantastic time here as a couple. Lucy, Cam & Howard were absolute legends and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel is amazingly close to the Sakka ski slopes, just a two-minute walk to the chairlifts. Being part of the Hakuba hospitality group also made it easy to get around for restaurant bookings and to pick up our snow gear. We'd definitely come back.
