I traveled solo, and Yoko was a great host who speaks good English. I'd recommend staying here.

I stayed in a dorm and found it really comfortable. The location near the Happo One Gondola is fantastic, and Yoko makes sure you're comfortable and have everything sorted. She helped with ski rental suggestions, slopes and onsen recommendations, groceries, and more. I researched a lot before coming, but Yoko still exceeded my expectations. If you want genuine Japanese hospitality, this is the place. Thanks, Yoko, and till next time!

I had a great snowboarding trip when I visited at the start of the year. Even though I arrived late on the first day and left very early on the last, the host always made time to drive me to the bus station. She can also advise you on local stories, food, and snow sports.

Everything about this house was perfect for me: the location, the price, and the lovely owner, Yuko. I loved my trip to hakuba, and Yuko did everything she could to make me feel at home.

Yoko was so kind and flexible, and the place is simply furnished and affordable. Its location worked well for us. I'd happily come back.
