Pyrenees Cottage - Vacation STAY 24861v

The cottage is peaceful, with very little traffic from cars or cyclists, and the neighbors were friendly and greeted us as they passed. After trying several places in hakuba, we found Pyrenees cottage the best of the lot. We’d love to return in every season, especially after hearing that fall is a nice time to visit too. Javier and Mami put a lot of care into building the place. It’s new, spotless, and has everything we needed. There are toys, a kids’ tent, and Legos, plus an espresso machine that makes lovely coffee. From the big dining-room window, we could watch the beautiful view, hear birds, and feel the clean mountain air. It made fancy, pricey tourist restaurants seem unnecessary. They even leave local craft beer in the fridge, so no need to rush to a bar in Echoland. There’s no dryer, but in summer the laundry dried overnight on the racks, and in winter the heater helped it dry while we slept. The kitchen has the basics for cooking and a modern induction cooktop that’s easy to use. We were big fans of Javier and Mami’s hospitality and the cottage’s Spanish and Japanese style.

It felt like home for my family and me at Javier and Mami's Pyrenees Cottage. The care the owners put into the details really stood out, and the place was spacious, comfortable, and super clean. The BBQ was ready to go, with all the equipment and special dishes needed to cook. The kitchen was fully new, and there was a washing machine, a TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, yoga mats, and plenty of toys, including Lego, so the kids were happy. You can reach Hakuba47 ski resort quickly, and the large supermarket is a two-minute drive away. We visited in summer and had an amazing time. We’re sure to come back this winter. We were five people and had a wonderful stay. The place was lovely and comfortable, with really cozy beds, and it was great to relax in the bath after a long day. Our host was so kind and helpful throughout, always ready to take care of whatever we needed. We were impressed by the warm welcome and very grateful. Thanks for making the stay so enjoyable!
