Shizuku villa looks beautifully designed and very modern, though in practice it feels more like an apartment or a tiny house than a villa. The listed size is accurate, but one of the three ensuite bedrooms barely has room to open your luggage. There’s no ski drying room, which makes sense given the house’s size, but the broken gas heating and unreliable internet made things harder. The management company had trouble fixing the connection. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Stayed for a week in February. The place was quiet, well located, and the wifi worked fine. It was comfortable and had what we needed, though storage was a bit limited. You’ll need to bring basics like oil and salt yourself. There’s no drying room, so ski gear dries by the entrance, which is warm enough.

Very modern, luxurious place, and the heating was excellent. There isn’t much storage, though, and no basic food supplies, so buy your own salt, pepper and similar things.
