Bohemians Shelter is tucked away from the crowds, but its free shuttle made it easy to get around. Gas, the owner, made us feel at home straight away. It’s a clean, sociable hostel without a party-hostel vibe, with beer on tap and good, affordable food. We stayed in a private room for two, which gave us our own space while still making it easy to meet people with similar interests.

There’s a shared kitchen and living room, and everything, including the shuttle services, is very well organized. It’s a cute, cozy place with a proper homey feel. The host is amazing and makes you feel at home right away. Highly recommended ❤️

Gas and his team, Bianca and Liam, made the evenings a highlight with communal dinners, bonfires, and games that brought everyone together. The salmon bowl was delicious, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming. Bohemians Shelter was easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Gas (Gaspard) has made it feel like a home away from home for skiers and snowboarders, and his love for the slopes and hospitality really comes through. He goes out of his way to help you enjoy your time, and we appreciated the grocery runs, shuttles, breakfast, and, of course, BEER ON TAP 🤪. The service and facilities were great, and our trip to Hakuba is one I won’t forget. I can’t recommend it enough!

The local views were amazing, the food was wonderful, and the shuttle timing was spot on. I loved staying at The Bohemian's Shelter. Gaspard, Liam, and Bianca did a great job making sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. If you like meeting people, hanging out in shared spaces, swapping stories, and having a laugh, this is the place for you.
